What a nice Speedmaster, isn't ?

When posting the CK 2915 on the menu page, we were quite sure that many visitors would directly go there.

At first glance, the specialist will note that there are many disappointing things this watch.

Actually, the housing case is really a CK 2915, the first Speedmaster produced in 1957. For this point only,   this pictured watch keeps some collectable value, mostly for its assembly parts. You can observe that pushers and crown are genuine but not original ones. Diameter is too big, and the bezel should be steel finish (not black), with black engraved scale.

Also, hands should be arrow-ended. And worse, the serial number of the movement, 28'867'794, is the one from a 1969 watch. Well, this is like a brand new Omega caliber 321 indeed.

What gives real value to this hybrid Speedmaster are all the different assembly parts. The dial is pristine with its applied Omega steel logo, the very rare bottom case stamped "CK 2915" and a symmetrical shaped housing case powered by a like new caliber 321.

On pure collectable point of view, however, this time piece does not have a very high value. For us, well, it has some sentimental one, because it was the first "Speed" we acquired. In trials and errors we do learn, don't we ?
